Your Fault - London
When they were filming ‘Your Fault – London’ they had 2 identical Porsche 911’s.
As I knew one of the marketing visuals had Nick and Noah sitting in the driving seat, I was keen to get one of the cars on set.
Luckily one of the Porsche's was free on our shoot day, but this is not always the case.
If a shoot car is not available, we create a simple set-up for the cast so that they appear as if they are sitting in the car.
Having Matthew and Asha sat in one of the Porsche’s for the shoot meant that they were able to sit more naturally and obviously they are then correctly positioned in relation to the steering wheel, gear stick and window. It is trickier to light them in the car, but the end result is obviously more authentic and requires less post.
Film & TV marketing shoots are often a shoot/post jigsaw puzzle, blending portraits and environments, but I am always really keen to shoot as much as possible in camera.
