About Katy

I’ve spent over thirty years working as a photographer’s agent and producer, building close relationships and supporting both emerging and established photographers in developing their careers.

After completing a degree in photography, I realised that my strengths lay in working alongside photographers rather than being behind the camera. I then began my career with the highly respected agent David Burnham straight after graduating, gaining invaluable experience and a deep understanding of the industry.

Six years later, on David’s retirement, I set up Burnham Niker and ran the agency for seventeen years. During that time, I represented twelve exceptionally talented photographers, produced campaigns for clients around the world. I’ve always taken a hands-on, collaborative approach, and I place great value on the long-term relationships I build with both photographers and clients.

In 2017, I chose to work under my own name with a smaller roster and a more personal approach. Since then, I’ve worked closely with award-winning still life photographer Paul Zak, offering dedicated representation and production.

In 2024, I welcomed renowned entertainment and portrait photographer Matthias Clamer to my roster. More recently, I began representing Gibson Kochanek, the creative studio founded by artists Barbara Gibson and Marta Kochanek. Together, they create distinctive visual narratives across digital collage and animation.

My roster remains small by design, allowing me to give each artist the attention, care and commitment their work deserves.
